Frequently Asked Questions
Will Hair Extensions Damage My Hair?
Whichever method of application you choose, hair extensions are a cosmetic procedure and so, as with any cosmetic procedure, if applied and maintained properly, the application will not damage your hair. The key to a successful, damage free application lies in the details of the application. As with anything; it’s all about the care with which the application was carried out, how well the extensions are cared for by the wearer at home, and how they are removed at the end of the recommended wear time.
What Makes Your Service Different?
The type of hair extension service I offer is completely customizable. Unlike other systems where you buy a pack of lesser quality hair and jam as much of it onto the head as possible, the hair extension treatments I offer use 100% ethically sourced and traceable human hair, and are tailored specifically to each wearer to be a natural, safe and believable extension of YOUR HAIR.
How Much Do Hair Extensions Cost?
There is no real “average price” or general cost for hair extensions, as each look is priced on a bespoke basis. Natural head shape, size, hair density, and desired look details will determine price. In order to find out what your desired look may cost, please book a consultation online.
Why Do I Need a Consultation?
Consultations take approximately 30-60 minutes and are a bit more detailed so we can give you all the information needed for you to make an informed decision about professional hair extension services, and whether they’re the right choice for you.
In order to find out what the look you are hoping to achieve may cost, I first need to meet with you to see your head shape, size, hairline, natural hair density etc. and be able to take some measurements to determine the amount of hair to order & in which specific shades as well as how they will need to be applied. What one guest may pay for an 18” hair extension look can be a completely different price from another with a similar look. The reason for this is the customization factor— no two heads are alike. It’s not only about the length of hair or how much hair is needed, but also HOW it is applied that will also determine pricing.
I love meeting with new guests, and encourage anyone curious about what an investment in professional luxury hair extensions may cost for their hair to book a consultation online.
